Nicole Peskin's artistic style is protean. Her work runs the gamut
from minimalist and geometric to sinuous and spiky. It
also ranges from the classical -- a graceful screen
adorned with dancing muses reminiscent of an ancient
Greek frieze -- to the modern; an aggressive looking chair that
might have popped out of one of Picasso's cubist
works. Her set design plays with light, shadow, shape, and space. "Three
dimensional work satisfies so many parts of the
human spirit . . ." Peskin says, " . . . it's a rush
of engagement with the universe."
